This is the title of a new book by William Grimes. Well, the full title is "Appetite City: A Culinary History of New York".
Mr. Grimes was a former NY Times food critic. This book recounts almost 200 years of food history in NY.
The Tenement Museum located at 108 Orchard Street in NYC's Lower East Side hosted a talk and book signing today.
The book is priced at $30, but alas, I am still on my book diet so I did not purchase a copy. But I look forward to reading this book when it becomes available at my local library.
