Is the name of this Willy Wonka fantasy come true chocolate restaurant by Max Brenner located in NYC's Union Square area at 841 Broadway. There is chocolate in all shapes and forms everywhere. Even the paint and furniture is chocolate brown in color.
They serve regular food too, but what is the fun in ordering salads and sandwiches when you could be eating dessert?
I had Max's Three Layer Chocolate Concoction With Cookies And Peanut Butter - milk chocolate cream layered with oreo cookie bits in peanut butter and white chocolate chunks topped with whipped cream served with crunchy wafer balls and a biscotti on the side 9.75.

When you place the clear little tea pot over the cup the tea is released from the bottom of the pot. How clever!

I also admire their food presentation. They have specially made cups and glasses, tiny beakers to hold chocolate sauce and crunchy wafer balls, and uniquely shaped plates and bowls.
The atmosphere is lively and happy. How could you not be happy when surrounded by chocolate??
