P.J. Clarke's

NYC has 3 branches of this restaurant. We visited the West 63rd St. & Columbus Avenue location (right across the street from Lincoln Center). It has an upscale Irish bar atmosphere and the food is consistently good.

I had the lobster club sandwich which was served with homemade potato chips $16.
J had the wedge salad (with blue cheese dressing and real bacon bits) $8 and Clams Casino $8.
R had the Wednesday special prime short ribs with fries and a side of asparagus $26.

And for dessert we split the apple cobbler a la mode - a huge warm cobbler with a scoop of vanilla and a scoop of cinnamon ice cream and a dollop of whipped cream.
