The Food Network named the pizza from this NYC Greenwich Village at 69 Seventh Avenue South spot as "Best Pizza in NY". Pizza is very personal and very subjective. Personally, I disagree, but maybe I visited on a bad day. For a tiny place with 4 guys behind the counter they are quite disorganized.
Anyway, I tried a regular slice for $2.50 and it was just...regular.
I wanted to try the grandma, but they had no more for the day (it was a Saturday late afternoon). And I wanted to try the Nonna, but it was still baking in the oven and then it became so crowded I felt the place was a fire hazard and left.
