Is a new "pizzeria" located in NYC's midtown area one block from Empire State Building at 325 Fifth Avenue.
The idea is they have converted a flat slice of pizza into a cone. There are two sizes of cones: K! = small and K!! = large. The dough cone is filled with the ingredients. Each cone comes with mozzerella and choice of either pesto or tomato sauce. Then additional ingredients are $0.50/each.
I had a K!! combo (large cone + drink for $6.90) with tomato sauce and sausage ($7.51 with tax).
Each cone is made to order and takes a few minutes, but is served piping hot. And just like regular pizza if you try to eat your K! cone too soon you may suffer from cheese burns.
It's an interesting concept, but you don't get a bite of all the ingredients at one time because you are nibbling around the edges until the cheese cools. I prefer horizontal pizzas.
