Today I had lunch at David Chang's newest venture, Ma Peche, on the second floor of the lobby of the Chambers Hotel in NYC's Midtown at 15 West 56th Street.
They have a special lunch menu for $10 you have your choice of 4 of their best selling dishes (2 banh mi sandwiches, octupus salad and noodles) along with a beverage (Coke, Diet Coke or Poland Spring Water). For $1.85 you can add Milk Bar peanut butter cookie.
I had the Banh Mi Maison - 3 terrine (vietnamese beef, ham and chicken liver pate) with daikon, cilantro, carrots on a perfectly warmed french baguette. They also give you a bottle of srirachi hot sauce.
And a bottle of water plus the cookie which was studded with peanut brittle. A very good deal in midtown Manhattan.
I will return to try the other 3 offerings.
Ma Peche is also opened for dinner and drinks (it really is more of a lounge than restaurant).
