Back To Boqueria

..."M" and I went back to Boqueria in NYC's Flatiron District at 53 West 19th Street for their Sunday night roast pig special!

"M" started with a glass of sangria and I with a glass of Moscatel ($10).
Croquetas Cremosas - creamy croquettes; 3 each of mushroom and chard ($12) - it was the sauces that made them extra special.
Salteda de Setas - marinated wild mushrooms, pork guanciale and manchego cheese ($11) - the mushrooms were quite meaty.
Daily special - duck egg omelet ($11) - served bubbling hot in a little skillet.
Whole Roasted suckling pig with faro, charred market fare, eggplant and peppers ($18) - the meat was moist, but the skin was not as crisp as we would have liked.
All in all another great meal at Boqueria.
