...is the newest outpost of the popular burger place located at 300 W. 44th Street in NYC's Times Square.
The line seems long, but it moves quicker than the Madison Avenue branch. And they have an extremely friendly and perky associate who walks around handing out laminated copies of the menu so you can plan what to order while you wait. And once you place your order you are given a buzzer so you can hunt for a seat while you wait for your order. Seating takes a little strategy so try to have the other person in your party hold onto your seats while you go back to the counter and pick up your order.
"C" and I each had a Single Shack Burger ($4.75) with lettuce, tomato and Shack Sauce - always juicy and delicious, love that potato roll; an Arnold Palmer ($2.25) - half lemonade half iced tea and a Concrete ($6.25).
"C" had a create your own Concrete with chocolate truffle cookie dough.
I had the Preztel! The Concrete with chocolate custard, peanut butter sauce, chocolate covered pretzels and marshmallow sauce. It was rich and delicious with very large chunks of pretzels which gave it a nice dimension of texture.
It's convenient and a little better logistics so I'll be back!
