With a name like that you better meet the expectations of anyone visiting this tiny cafe at 55A Spring Street in NYC's SoHo.
And for $6.50 per slice it better be the BEST. I have to admit it was good, but I wouldn't say it was the "best" chocolate cake I have ever tasted. And I have not tasted all of the chocolate cakes in the world.
I had the milk chocolate version. It was good and light with many thin layers of dense chocolate alternating with crisp chocolate wafers. The top layer was smooth and thick like fondant.
I also had a Vanilla Almond iced tea for $3.50.
