I admit I am a Thomas Keller groupie. But that's not the only reason I frequent NYC's Bouchon Bakery in the Shops at Columbus Circle. The food is very good and the desserts are excellent.
On this day I went to the counter area and had a sugar overload by starting off with a Fluffer Nutter sandwich $6.75, washed down with an Arnold Palmer $3.75 and topped off with a Caramel Macaron $2.75. Bouchon Bakery's macaron is palm size and wonderful - light as air cookie book ends on either side of delicate cream.

There are so many other wonderful foods that you have to visit on multiple ocassions to try as many as possible.
There is also a table service section that offers other goodies such as sliders and cocktails.
