"E" and I stopped for a little break and snack at this NYC Midtown East cafe for some fresh baklava. We tried the pistachio and the walnut ($3.25 each mini serving) because they were sold out of the combination walnut & pistachio baklava.
They had a strange cheeselike flavor that we were not used to.
I also had a lemonade ($2.50) and "E" had a turkish coffee ($2.25).
"E" had vacationed for several weeks in Turkey and said the coffee was good and the food (ordered by the neighborhing tables) looked authentic.
