I was walking in NYC's Chelsea along West 23rd Street when I spotted this quaint little cafe - Madeline Patisserie - that had a display case of macarons in the window. So I made a quick stop to check them out.
I tried 2: lemon and praline. Each macaron ws $2.50. They were quite good, but the unfriendly employee behind the counter will deter me from visiting again. I have other macaron sources in Manhattan who act more appreciative of my patronage.
