Located off in NYC's Orange County Interstate 84 in Newburgh at 2025 Route 9W this is your typical diner with a vast menu.

For breakfast I had a belgian waffle with bacon ($7.75) and hot chocolate.

is a 24 hour diner in NYC's borough of Queens in Elmhurst at 86-55 Queens Blvd. The food is always consistent and reliable.

I had a Belgian Waffle with bacon and orange juice ($5.95) , hot chocolate ($1.95). Although during this visit my bacon was overcooked.

Brooklyn Diner USA

...is not located in Brooklyn. There are two in Manhattan - one in Times Square and the original location at 212 West 57th Street. And this is an upscale diner with prices higher than you would expect from the silver streamer railroad car exterior. But the food is good and consistent.

During this visit I had a Cheeseburger Deluxe ($17) which is a cheeseburger with smokehouse bacon, fries and fried frizzled onion rings and a soda ($3.95). It was such a good portion that I didn't have room for dessert such as the house specialities: The Strawberry Blonde Cheesecake or Hot Chocolate Fudge Sundae. During previous visits I had tried both and they are also very good.

White Palace Chicago

This diner located on Canal St. in downtown Chicago was featured on Food Network's "Guy Fieri - Diners, Drive Ins and Dives" and they are cashing in on it. The White Palace has posted their Food Network fame on every surface inside their classically decorated diner. The food is hearty and generous. On the weekends there is usually a line of customers waiting for a table.

I had a spinach omelet which is served with 3 pancakes.

T had bbq brisket sandwich which was served with a cup of cream of chicken soup.

W had the huevos rancheros which was served with rice, guacamole, chips, and refried beans.
