"A" and I shared the daily special salad - Caprese with fresh mozzarella, basil and tomato with olive oil ($8) and a Meatball pie with tomato, mozzarella, veal meatballs, carmelized onions, olives, aged pecorino, and oregano ($18).
I had a lemonade ($4).
And we shared two desserts: the daily special Affogato Bomboloni - chocolate filled donut with vanilla gelato in a glass of espresso ($8) and the Chocolate breadcrumb torte with chocolate gelato and chocolate sauce ($8). Both were very good, but the torte was excellent with three rich chocolate flavors. The single bomboloni was not an adequate dessert. It needed a friend or two or three. = )
And a bonus is we saw Jimmy Fallon and his wife. He is much taller and better looking in person than on tv!
