I am doing my part to help the economy by supporting food and retail industries...by eating and shopping one restaurant and store at a time. Yes, it's a Herculean task, but someone has to do it. And I know there are lots of other people out there who are also doing their part!

Knives at Dawn
"Knives at Dawn" sounds like a duel and in a way it is. The book by Andrew Friedman recounts the USA team as it prepares to compete in the 2009 Bocuse d'Or. It's like Top Chef in book form, but with a year's worth of behind the scenes drama.
I like to eat and I like to shop...PERIOD. This is my tribute to the industries that I have patronized. I pay the price inidcated for all of the items I consume/receive unless otherwise noted.
