Not to be confused with T-Pain...T Poutine is NYC's first poutine restaurant located on the Lower East Side restaurant at 168 Ludlow Street. It's a very casual place and great for a post bar snack.
Poutine is a Quebecois dish consisting of french fries covered in hot gravy and white cheddar cheese curds.
"T" had the Farmer's Burger: angus beef patty, applewood smoked bacon, fried egg and chipotle aioli for $7.75. For $2 she added a side of classic poutine.
I had the Bison Burger: lean buffalo patty, carmelized onions, danish blue cheese and horseradish mayo for $8.75 and a side of classic poutine for $2.
And a Cherry Coke for $1.50.The hamburgers were good and juicy. The poutine were still crispy even though they were covered with cheese and gravy. The cheese had a very mild flavor.
They were out of beignets or else we would have shared an order for dessert.
