One of today's Lunch Specials was the mixed sandwich (1/2 sandwich each egg salad, tuna salad, ham with lettuce and tomato) with fried chicken (2 pcs) and pasta salad.

Midtown Manhattan Lunch

Located upstairs in a Japanese bookstore on across from NYC's Bryant Park on 6th Avenue and 41st Street is a hidden gem for a quick lunch - Cafe Zaiya. They offer several daily lunchbox specials for $5 that includes a beverage (bottle of Crystal Geyser water or cup of black or green tea).

This is the dumpling box (contains pork dumplings, potato croquette, cabbage, one florette of broccoli and rice). The lunchbox menu changes weekly.

They have a larger outpost on 41st Street between 5th and Madison Avenues which is much larger and busier, but also has a bakery section.
