Lazzara's has been in the heart of NYC's Garment District - 221 West 38th Street - for 24 years selling thin crust rectangular pizza.
Although it's pricey for pizza in this area - $8 for half (3 slices = 1 person)/$16 for whole (6 slices = 2 people) Classica this place is packed daily at lunch time. If you are true fashionista you would be satisfied by one slice, but those of us with a decent appetite can easily eat half a pizza on our own.
S and I ordered a full Margarita. It arrived at the table piping hot. We had to wait patiently to start eatling lest we suffer from "pizza mouth".
