I started with a glass of Reisling ($9) and served a dainty amuse bouche.
I ordered the foie gras appetizer ($18) and daily special of Sheepshead Fish with rice and string beans ($34.50)
For dessert I was torn between the famous Coconut Cake and the chocolate torte with orange creamsicle. My waiter was nice enough to ask the pastry chef to make a small tasting plate of both for me ($8).
And I took a full slice of the Coconut Cake to go ($10) to be enjoyed the next day for breakfast. It is a 6 layer cake and very dense.
